Height & Weight Benchmarks
- Male Cadets: Minimum 157.5 cm (relaxation for Gorkhas/Northeastern students: 5 cm).
- Female Cadets: Minimum 152.0 cm.
- BMI Ratio: Strictly proportional height-to-weight indices within 18.5 – 24.9 range.
Chest Expansion & Vitals
- Unexpanded: Minimum 77 cm (for male candidates).
- Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 cm expansion required.
- Spirometry / Lung Capacity: Normal respiratory excursion test during physical call.
Physical Endurance Protocol
- Run Test: 1.6 km run within 07 minutes 30 seconds.
- Callisthenics: Minimum 20 push-ups, 25 bent-knee sit-ups, and 6 chin-ups.
- Obstacle Agility: Ramp jump and 6-foot ditch leap.
Medical Clearance Mandate
- Visual Acuity: 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other without severe color blindness.
- Anatomy: No knock-knees, flat feet, squint, or surgical implants.
- Hearing: Normal acoustic threshold (whisper test at 610 cm).
